Let's Have Some Fun Today!
Collective Soul ...
Yes, I know you've heard of them and may have one or more of their songs that you just can't get out of your head. They are touring with Gavin DeGraw this summer!

Most of you know, or have read on the blog, that I am in Jonesboro, GA (not even 5 miles away) so I've been hearing about these guys for a LONG time.
In case you just can't get enough or (oh my goodness!) need a jumpstart, listen to this.
What's the point of this post? Well, for me the video would have been enough. I absolutely love the acoustic version of "December". Most of you know I use Twitter to send you the list of coupons and deals that I find other than just Kroger. I don't follow celebrities as they don't care what I have to say. They don't need coupons, right?
I heard from my twitter friends @BuzzEdition and @webaddict that Collective Soul actually follows their fans back. Did you just roll your eyes the way I did mine when I heard that? Yeah, right..right? So I followed, just to see what would happen. I mean if they didn't follow me back it just meant I was right about celebs, right?
The very next morning I received another Twitter alert and I can't lie to you, when I got this email, my heart nearly jumped out of body!

They were following me, that didn't mean they were actually tweeting. Guess what people? These are REAL PEOPLE with REAL PEOPLE HEARTS! They have not only dignity, but humility. They don't act as though they are better than you. They seem to feel truly lucky to have you as fans and will treat you as such. I watched them answer fans without sarcasm or ego. They answered questions with enthusiasm all the while treating (or tweeting) their fans with consideration and infectious fun! The really cool part? They RT (retweet) some of your tweets!
Ok, so you don't believe me. Try it for yourself and I promise you will not be sorry! The rush of getting the email was enough to have me grinning from ear to ear for a couple of days now. If you don't use Twitter and don't ever plan to, then just go to the Collective Soul blog . If you are a Tweeter, follow Collective Soul and you will get the email too!
