Collective Soul ...

Yes, I know you've heard of them and may have one or more of their songs that you just can't get out of your head. They are touring with Gavin DeGraw this summer!

Most of you know, or have read on the blog, that I am in Jonesboro, GA (not even 5 miles away) so I've been hearing about these guys for a LONG time.

In case you just can't get enough or (oh my goodness!) need a jumpstart, listen to this.

What's the point of this post? Well, for me the video would have been enough. I absolutely love the acoustic version of "December". Most of you know I use Twitter to send you the list of coupons and deals that I find other than just Kroger. I don't follow celebrities as they don't care what I have to say. They don't need coupons, right?

I heard from my twitter friends @BuzzEdition and @webaddict that Collective Soul actually follows their fans back. Did you just roll your eyes the way I did mine when I heard that? Yeah, right..right? So I followed, just to see what would happen. I mean if they didn't follow me back it just meant I was right about celebs, right?

So...have you ever been in the grocery line and realize you don't have your loyalty card? Like most shoppers, mine happens to be attached my KEYS. I have all my coupons loaded on this card. Except the 50 that I have in my hand, of course. I'm panicking. The sweet cashier told me I could just put in my phone number.

Guess what folks... when you do that, you don't get the coupons loaded on your card to come off. So, I spent $68.00 on 58 items instead of the $30 I had intended. However I still made out with a 48% savings, but I sure was upset.

I called my mom on the way home (I do carry an extra set of keys, thank goodness) and as I'm explaining why I am upset I could have sworn she was secretly laughing at me. It wasn't that I had lost my keys to my car, house, etc... I had LOST my 11 year old Kroger card.

I searched the house, the car and called the store. "It's Gone!" I cried. Yes, you can get another and they are free, but then having to register them all over again at all the sites just didn't appeal to me.

I slept restlessly, fitfully and woke up depressed.

I made my coffee and then I searched one last place... THERE!! in the middle of the pile of newspapers I was to recycle was my BABY! My best friend! The one that I have saved so much money with! Yes, I'm joking about it, but the feeling was truly sickening. After finding it my day was much better and brighter.

Alas, God is good!
